Worst Playground Ever

Stupidity doesn't get any more local than this--my own apartment complex.
I don't know when there was last a playground here, but from the looks of things it's been years...decades, maybe?
Kids love playing with gravel you know...

For Sissies

You can't convince me that this is only a coincidence. (notice both the sign in the foreground and the billboard in the background).

Salmon

It just seems too obvious to not be considered stupid.

Pizzas that are shaped like stuff

Ah, the shaped pizza...a trend that has swept the nation. Well, I don't actually know about that, but what I DO know is that from time to time I'll find them on TV or in paper ads around here.

The most common kind of shaped pizza is the heart. Awww. You start seeing these around Valentine's Day. Now, I have no problem with this pizza. The shape doesn't take away from the fact that it is indeed a pizza, and you aren't getting much less of a pizza (ie, it's still about the same size as a regular pizza).

But then things go terribly wrong come March.

What the crap? This pizza design doesn't quite 'cut' it for me. It leaves you with a ridiculously small pizza (hardly worth the 4.99) and how the crap do you cut it? As far as shaped pizzas go, this one takes last place.

Oh...and in case you couldn't tell from the picture...THE CHEESE IS GREEN!

If I were attending Pizza High, I'd shove this loser of a pizza in its locker and steal its lunch money.

I rest my case.

I wish Bill would have his hearing checked...

This is a lovely example of stupidity found in the newspaper.

Seriously...if these are the kinds of thoughts that are going through your head on your or your child's wedding day, you should probably be checking your priorities, not your hearing. Know what I mean? I think that wondering about the upcoming reception or honeymoon would be slightly more appropriate.

My favorite part is the bride's thought bubble. "What a wonderful day?" Is this a question, or just uncertainty? Maybe this goes deeper that we will ever realize...

Local Stupidity

The Local Stupidity project is an ongoing effort to find and expose particularly stupid things around the area I live. I'm not saying that my hometown produces more stupidity than any other place...it's just that I happen to live here, you see, and that makes it more convenient.

Here, I will post things that I find from various sources. At the very least it will be horribly entertaining, so come along with me and dabble in the supidity that is all around us.
